From Research Lab to Digital Trust Leaders
DeepMark’s journey started in a small university lab in Montenegro, where two PhD researchers, Slavko Kovačević and Kosta Pavlović, spent years exploring the intricacies of signal processing and audio watermarking. Initially, it was pure curiosity that drove them: how can we hide information within audio so seamlessly that humans can't detect it, yet machines can verify it?
Their curiosity turned into groundbreaking technology, recognized as pioneering and state-of-the-art by industry giants like Microsoft, Meta, Sony, and Adobe by 2023. This industry recognition was the spark that inspired the leap from academia to entrepreneurship, leading to DeepMark’s official launch. With support from Montenegro’s Innovation Fund and the Katapult Accelerator, the transition was smooth and impactful.
But DeepMark isn’t just about research excellence; it's also about building a strong business foundation. Our founding team combines deep technical expertise with hands-on experience in fundraising and successful company exits, ensuring our scientific innovations make a real-world difference.
