GITEX 2026

Petar Nedić and I represented DeepMark at GITEX Europe 2026 in Berlin.

Over the course of the event, we met people from across the AI, cybersecurity, media, and investment ecosystem. We discussed content provenance, the EU AI Act, IP protection, potential research collaborations, and the growing need for reliable ways to verify synthetic media.

We also spoke with dozens of investors and had many valuable conversations about where DeepMark is heading and how trust infrastructure for AI-generated content could evolve.

The highlight was demonstrating our audio watermarking models most simply and honestly possible: live, with headphones. No polished recordings, no carefully selected examples, and no added drama. People could listen to the original and watermarked audio themselves and see how the models held up in real time.

That direct feedback was incredibly valuable, and a good reminder that strong technology is best demonstrated without hiding behind presentation.

DeepMark is not only about work. Since our return flight was late at night, we had the rare opportunity to explore Berlin after the event. We really enjoyed the city, and we are attaching a few photos to share a little of that experience as well.
